No clear entry point

  • Unclear value proposition and weak first impression
  • Visual noise and decorative elements distract from the core offer
  • No clear user path to explore tours
  • Navigation does not support decision-making

Pricing is hard to understand

  • Dense table with low readability
  • No clear difference between packages
  • No visual prioritization → difficult to compare
  • High cognitive load during decision-making
Key information is not accessible

  • Critical details (route, duration, difficulty) are not immediately visible
  • No clear hierarchy → user doesn’t know where to focus
  • Layout forces exploration instead of guiding it
  • Weak connection between visual and content
Content overload and poor scanability

  • Long, unstructured text blocks
  • No grouping or content hierarchy
  • Hard to scan → requires full reading
  • Important information gets lost
The product presented information, but did not support how users actually choose a tour.

Overview
Cyklus Trails is a Prague-based since 2002 cycling travel company offering curated self-guided bike and e-bike tours across the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria.

The service combines route design, bike rental, and full trip logistics — enabling seamless independent journeys through scenic landscapes and historic European routes.

My Role:
Product & Web Designer (end-to-end)
Project Highlights:
Design brand identity
My role:
Graphic Designer

I redesigned the logo based on the old one, combining elements of beach, mountain, and city bikes. The previous version featured a road bike, which doesn’t represent the company’s range.

Developed the visual identity, including the color palette, typography, and typeface hierarchy.

Worked with photos for the project — selected suitable images for the website, retouched them, and generated additional.

Before & After

Production

My role:
Product Designer

Task:
The existing website, developed in 2015, had become outdated both visually and functionally. The user experience was confusing, leading to low conversion rates as users struggled to navigate the site and reach the purchase stage.

Solution:
  • Conducted a comprehensive UX audit, identifying key friction points that prevented users from completing their journey.
  • Redesigned the product structure, aligning it with the owner’s vision and customer insights to create a clear and intuitive user flow.
  • Developed the design system and created new layouts for all pages, ensuring consistency and a modern aesthetic.
  • Sourced a developer, managed collaboration between the owner and the developer, and oversaw the entire project lifecycle, from wireframes to launch.
  • Supported the implementation by assisting with Tilda site development, ensuring the final product met design specifications and usability standards.
